Here in the valley we have selected the perfect setting for our lake. Quiet and peaceful.. Except for when those bite alarms start bleeping eh?!

We next need to put a dye into the water to stop the weeds from growing! Nothing that will turn our carp blue though, don't worry!

Well I’ve certainly had worse days at work!
With a break in the weather, we decided to crack on with the pathway going around the new carp lake. Soon after starting, I realised a short distance away there were a few fish rising! Giving the fact the boss had said he would be in the office most of the day, I couldn’t resist lowering a rod in the margin as I worked. The plan was all going well until.. Nige came down to see how I was getting on and was stopped mid sentence by the sound of a bite alarm tearing off from behind a bush! Grabbing the rod up and playing the fish, I turned around to see the shocked look on his face as he said “you sneaky little f#cker! ”

double swim
The “Double swim” is now finished on the carp lake, one step closer to be able to open! We would like to thank all the eager carp anglers for being patient whilst we take the time to perfect our lake before we open to the public. Keep an eye on our page for updates on progress/opening dates

We are getting there lads! Walkways almost complete and some brilliant single swims popping up left, right and centre, but don't worry there's still a decent amount of room between them to ensure the best fishing experience!
